At Sundays, our mission is simple: To give people back their well deserved quality time while we take care of the logistics, paperwork, and, yes, even meal planning. Our goal is to establish a seamless relationship between you and your dedicated Executive Assistant (EA) as quickly as possible. We believe that the first 30 days with Sundays are crucial to ensuring success for both you and your EA.

How To Best Prepare Before Your Onboarding Meeting:

At Sundays we recognize that to achieve success in the long run, you have to put in some work at the start. To create a seamless relationship between you and your EA, we’ve put a lot of thought into defining what the most important details are about you, your family/team and your goals, and we collect that information in the form of a fillable questionnaire that you will complete prior to your onboarding meeting. This helps your EA come into the onboarding with an understanding of how they can best support you.

Tips & Tricks For The Most Successful Relationship:

  1. Best Practices For Communication: Everyone is different and communicates in different ways. At Sundays our EAs are well versed in the many forms of communications that work well for our clients - Slack, Asana task tracking, texting, Zoom calls, you name it! Identify your favorite and most effective way to communicate regarding projects. Note that down to share with you EA!

  2. Share Your Feedback With Us: While we are constantly striving for perfection, we understand the road can get bumpy sometimes. When that happens, share with us! We want to hear from you whenever you have feedback, a piece of advice, or an idea on how we can become even better.

  3. Create a 3-5 Item List: We know - delegation is hard. However, your time is one of your most valuable things and we are here to help give more back to you. We encourage you to create a short list of 3 to 5 tasks that you would like your EAs help with (you don’t have to have a full understanding of how, yet!). Having a starting point, no matter how small, is key to the most effective partnership!

  4. Setting Expectations Our EAs are hard at work, often supporting 3-4 clients a week. It’s really helpful to discuss your expectations around timeliness and due dates so that your EA can always hit the mark. Some projects take more time than others. It’s important for you and your EA to keep open communication on how long you estimate a project to take. If it’s unclear how long something may take, our EAs can always provide mid-project updates and status reports.

Weekly Onboarding Breakdown

Week 1: Onboarding & Getting Started The journey begins with a thorough onboarding process with your EA, as we take the time to learn about you, your family, your goals, and begin to scope out how we can best support you. Communication preferences will be established, and your EA will start building a detailed client profile with prioritized projects and key future milestones. By the end of this week, your EA will begin providing insights into how they can start giving you time back.

Week 2: Building Communication & Feedback Loops In the second week, you and your EA will review progress, provide feedback, and adjust priorities as needed. Our dedicated Operations Team will reach out for a check-in to ensure this new journey is going smoothly and to gather any helpful feedback. Regular communication will be a staple of your partnership with us!

Weeks 3 & 4: Refining & Establishing Routines As you move into weeks three and four, your EA will continue refining their services, guaranteeing that tasks are completed in a way that perfectly aligns with your needs. By the end of the first 30 days, the two of you will have established a consistent flow of communication. Together, you’ll set priorities for the upcoming weeks, laying the groundwork for long-term success.

The first 30 days with Sundays are designed to be a smooth transition into a partnership that enhances your daily life. You can look forward to a relationship built on trust, efficiency, and understanding. We’re here to support you / your family / your business in every way possible, so you have time to focus on what truly matters.
