Coordinating guest mentors, ordering prizes for study squad participants, posting call recordings, responding to 'pick my brain' emails. All necessary tasks. But not tasks that required me specifically to do them.

I couldn't do the deeper work because I was stuck in the weeds of day-to-day operations.

Until I finally caved and invested in help.

I've been working with Kate Delgado, my EA through Sundays, since January. She's helped with everything from sourcing flowers to send to celebrate the birth of my nephew, to drafting social media posts for Hacker in Heels and coordinating vendors for our Salons.

The most surprising thing? Her efficiency blew me away. She gets so much done that I've actually signed on for MORE hours with her, knowing they'll be well-spent.

Now I have time at night and weekends to actually have fun with family and friends.

My business revenue is increasing because we can offer more programs and events with two sets of hands instead of one.
